A post-apocalyptic natural atmosphere

image

Natura 2000

The organisms on display here belong to the division Bryophyta (mosses).
They serve as pioneers, or first colonizers, in their ecosystems, providing the basis for many plants and habitat for a variety of arthropods and insects. They are primary producers, creating organic matter from inorganic matter through photosynthesis.
The installation is a symbiosis of technology and natural aesthetics, evoking a post-apocalyptic atmosphere. The high humidity, the smell of the forest, a light mist and the sound of water transport the visitor to a solarpunk world.
