The work "Speicherplatz" is a living reservoir that becomes a concrete utopia. The technical interplay of artificial light and generated air and water movements enables plant cultures to live in artificial contexts."speicherplatz" is a symbiotically designed system in which all components are in partnership - nature, which needs technology - and man, as a technologically driven being, functionalizes nature. In this way, modular, decentralized reservoirs for the operation of plant worlds are created, which can be inserted as a living wall into a wide variety of architectural scenarios, whether for food production in a spaceship or as an oxygen supplier in the stairwell of an apartment complex. The genesis of the collaborative work is informed by an exploration of the ambivalent portrayal of nature in science fiction films, as well as an ongoing exchange about natural and artificially generated phenomena from our immediate environment. The work consists of a digital and an analog version.
